Stay Up To Date with Svitanok
The Svitanok Ensemble has a marathon performing weekend coming up on November 25, 26 and 27! We're performing at a different event each day and each event is raising money to support Ukraine or displaced Ukrainians.
Friday, November 25: Help Ukraine 2.0 gala in Merrickville, ON (fundraiser to support displaced people from Ukraine in Leeds and Grenville)
Saturday, November 26: Ukrainian Canadian Social Services (UCSS) - Ottawa Branch's Вишиваний Вечір/Ukrainian Embroidery Cultural Event (fundraiser for the Armed Forces of Ukraine)
Sunday, November 27: World Multicultural Festival at Lansdowne Park (donations made at the event will go to support displaced people from Ukraine in Ottawa)

We have an opening on our OSUD teaching team!
The Ottawa School of Ukrainian Dance (OSUD) provides training in Ukrainian dance to students of all ages and levels. Classes follow a Ukrainian/character curriculum that encourages all students to work to their full potential.
For this opportunity, Ukrainian dance training is required and teaching experience is preferred. However, applicants with a desire to begin instructor training will be considered.

The Svitanok Ensemble is performing on the main Canada Day stage on July 1! We're on at 6:30 p.m. in LeBreton Flats Park.

The Ottawa School of Ukrainian Dance is offering in-person classes for all ages in fall 2021! We'll be re-opening safely and joyfully the week of September 19th.
Registration is now open and spaces are limited. We process registrations on a first-come, first-served basis until classes are full. COVID-19 protocols are in effect for all classes. We look forward to seeing you in the studio!
The Svitanok Ensemble has performed in the Capital Ukrainian Festival opening ceremonies every year to welcome festival-goers from far and wide. Seven socially-distanced Svitanok dancers met in downtown Ottawa to keep this tradition alive!

The Svitanok Ensemble is performing at Ottawa Malanka on Saturday, January 11th. Join us in celebrating the Ukrainian New Year in Ottawa!

On Sunday, December 15th, all OSUD students will gather together at The School of Dance to participate in a Ukrainian dance winter celebration! Parents, family and friends are invited to join OSUD students in the studio for brief, spotlight student performances as well as dances by Ottawa's own Svitanok Dance Ensemble. The general public is welcome with admission by donation. The Winter Celebration starts at 2pm and will finish at approximately 3:30pm.
The Svitanok Ensemble is performing at the World Multicultural Festival on Saturday, November 30th. Come see us at the Horticulture Building at Lansdowne Park at 5pm!
The Festival runs from 12pm-11pm on November 30th and admission is free.
