The Svitanok Ensemble is performing at Ottawa Malanka on Saturday, January 11th. Join us in celebrating the Ukrainian New Year in Ottawa!

You'll also enjoy singing from the Kolizhanky choir and zabava music from the band "Nervy". Ticket, timing and contact information is on the poster below. Don't wait too late to get your tickets! :)

On Sunday, December 15th, all OSUD students will gather together at The School of Dance to participate in a Ukrainian dance winter celebration! Parents, family and friends are invited to join OSUD students in the studio for brief, spotlight student performances as well as dances by Ottawa's own Svitanok Dance Ensemble. The general public is welcome with admission by donation. The Winter Celebration starts at 2pm and will finish at approximately 3:30pm.

The Svitanok Ensemble is performing at the World Multicultural Festival on Saturday, November 30th. Come see us at the Horticulture Building at Lansdowne Park at 5pm!

The Festival runs from 12pm-11pm on November 30th and admission is free.

Come see the Svitanok Ensemble perform Hopak and partake in the Unity Dance at The Great India Festival on August 9th, at 6:30pm. The Festival takes place from August 9-11 at Ottawa City Hall.

Celebrating 40 years of the Ottawa School of Ukrainian Dance! Join the Ottawa School of Ukrainian Dance and the Svitanok Ukrainian Dance Ensemble as they cherish their roots and look to the future. Experience a high-energy, vibrant dance concert with 102 performers of all ages in the cast. Spinning turns, male acrobatics, colour, emotion and a special guest artist. A whirlwind of a concert! Come and join in the celebration!

Tickets go on sale to the general public Thursday, May 23rd at 10 a.m. at the Centrepointe Theatre box office and at meridiancentrepointe.com.

The Svitanok Ensemble is having an OPEN REHEARSAL on Sunday, May 5th! Come and see how our dancers train and practice and what a Svitanok rehearsal looks like!
Following the rehearsal, join us for a reception to thank and recognize our 2018-19 Svitanok Society donors.

The Svitanok Ensemble is excited to perform at the National Arts Centre on December 8th and 9th with the NAC Orchestra in "Holiday Traditions Around the World!" Both shows will take place on the Southam Hall stage at 2:30pm.
