The Ottawa School of Ukrainian Dance is excited to present an end-of-season performance by all ages and for all ages on Saturday, June 1! Along with the Svitanok Ukrainian Dance Ensemble and other guest artists, join us as we showcase Ukrainian-Canadian dance, music, and costumes. Become a part of the stream of story, identity and culture sharing between the generations. Be energized and uplifted by the spirit of Ukrainian dance in Canada’s capital! On Sunday, December 15th, all OSUD students will gather together at The School of Dance to participate in a Ukrainian dance winter celebration! Parents, family and friends are invited to join OSUD students in the studio for brief, spotlight student performances as well as dances by Ottawa's own Svitanok Dance Ensemble. The general public is welcome with admission by donation. The Winter Celebration starts at 2pm and will finish at approximately 3:30pm.  Ottawa School of Ukrainian Dance 2019-2020 registration is OPEN! Register for our Children/Youth Programme or for our Adult Programme. Come celebrate Canada Day at the National Arts Centre with the Ottawa School of Ukrainian Dance! Participate in a Ukrainian dance hour of movement and fun with OSUD as we celebrate Canada Day Ukrainian-Canadian style. No experience required. Plus, enjoy a performance by OSUD's performing ensemble, Molodtsi!
The Ottawa School of Ukrainian Dance was founded in 1979 and is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. As a 40th anniversary project, the School has established a young, preparatory Ensemble called "Molodtsi!". This young Ensemble focuses on performance, performing opportunities and the joy of dance.
Molodtsi! will present its premiere performance (a program of 3 new dances) in the Ottawa community this coming Saturday, May 11th at Ottawa Springfest. Tickets to Ottawa Springfest can be purchased from their website (link above). Please join us in wishing success to Molodtsi! on its debut performance. Break a leg! The Ottawa School of Ukrainian Dance is holding an Open House on Sunday, February 10th! Visit our 4 studios between 2 and 6:15pm to see various classes in progress. Drop in to see our youngest - check out our adult class - each class is unique and fun, and all classes and teachers will be happy to welcome you as guests!

This year's Winter Celebration will also mark the debut performance of OSUD's new School ensemble, Molodtsi! The general public is welcome with admission by donation.
Join us to celebrate a successful first term with the Ottawa School of Ukrainian Dance! NEW in the Ottawa School of Ukrainian Dance this year - MOLODTSI! This young, preparatory ensemble will provide additional training to School students from the Intermediate level on up.
