Are you interested in Ukrainian dance? Want to see what a Svitanok rehearsal looks like? Come to our open rehearsal on Sunday, April 28 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. and get a glimpse into how our Ensemble dancers train! You'll see some barre and centre work, tricks and turns, classic and new choreography, and much more. Our dancers are looking forward to welcoming you to the studio!

The Svitanok Ensemble is having an OPEN REHEARSAL on Sunday, May 5th! Come and see how our dancers train and practice and what a Svitanok rehearsal looks like!
Following the rehearsal, join us for a reception to thank and recognize our 2018-19 Svitanok Society donors. Date: Sunday, May 5th Location: The School of Dance, 200 Crichton St., Ottawa Open Rehearsal: 6:30-7:45pm (FREE) Donor Reception: 7:45-9pm ($10 for non-donors) All are welcome to join us in the studio! The Ottawa School of Ukrainian Dance is holding an Open House on Sunday, February 10th! Visit our 4 studios between 2 and 6:15pm to see various classes in progress. Drop in to see our youngest - check out our adult class - each class is unique and fun, and all classes and teachers will be happy to welcome you as guests!
Location: The School of Dance, 200 Crichton Street Come join the Svitanok Ensemble at its open rehearsal! Watch and get a feel of what it's really like in the studio - get a behind-the-scenes glimpse into all that goes into practicing and preparing for performance. Warm-ups, technique, tricks, solos, character, and choreography! Afterwards, stay for refreshments and entertainment at our Donor Reception where the Svitanok Society recognizes and shows its great appreciation for all of its donors. Our donors provide us with huge support and allow us to continue to share our passion for Ukrainian dance. Open Rehearsal: Free of charge and open to all! Donor Reception: Free for donors; $10 for non-donors (price includes 2 drink tickets)  Experience Ukrainian dance in Canada's capital! Join us at the Svitanok Ukrainian Dance Ensemble's open rehearsal on Sunday, April 9th. All are welcome to come and have the opportunity to see what a Svitanok rehearsal looks like! Get a first-hand glimpse into what the Ensemble has been working on, including new choreography, and feel the unique and artistic spirit of Ukrainian dance in Ottawa. Admission is free, and you're welcome to stay afterwards for a wine and cheese reception in honour of our society's valued donors!  The OSUD Open House is this Sunday, February 12th! Come see our School's students and teachers in action between 2:00pm and 6:15pm at The School of Dance, 200 Crichton Street. There will also be a drop-in room with coffee, juice, and baked goods for all guests. See how hard we've been working and how much fun we've been having!
