Looking forward to dancing at the European Union in Canada Cultural Fair at Lansdowne Park on Saturday, July 13th at the invitation of Otavas Rotaļa/ Latvian Folk Dance Ottawa and the Embassy of Latvia in Canada.

Svitanok will perform a Ukrainian welcome dance (Привітальний танець) and partnered Latvian dances with Otavas Rotaļa at 12:45. It's free admission for the whole day from 10 am to 4 pm! Enjoy cultural displays, workshops, food and drink, games, and live music & dance. Hope to see you there!

​The Svitanok Ensemble is performing at MP Anita Vandenbeld's Canada Day Celebration on June 30 at the Maison de la francophonie d'Ottawa. The event is from 4-6 p.m. and we're performing around 5:15.

The Ottawa School of Ukrainian Dance is excited to present an end-of-season performance by all ages and for all ages on Saturday, June 1!

Along with the Svitanok Ukrainian Dance Ensemble and other guest artists, join us as we showcase Ukrainian-Canadian dance, music, and costumes. On March 2nd, join us for an evening of "Solidarity Through Song and Dance!" Svitanok Ensemble and our Podorozh! Performance Group (OSUD) will be performing dances alongside Otavas Rotaļa/ Latvian Folk Dance Ottawa.

Our partnership with Otavas Rotaļa began in March 2022, when Svitanok dancers Anhelina and Erin were warmly welcomed to their dance fundraiser for Ukraine - to teach Ukrainian dance steps and learn Latvian dances in return.

The evening will also include singer and choir performances, a DJ, a silent raffle, food, and a zabava-style dance. All proceeds go to Canada-Ukraine Foundation, BCU Foundation, and Save Ukraine. Get your tickets now at the early bird rate!

The Svitanok Ukrainian Dance Ensemble will perform as a guest with singers Nazari and Dmytro Yaremchuk in a benefit concert for Ukraine on Saturday, Jan. 27 at the Ukrainian Banquet and Convention Hall, 1000 Byron Avenue.

Come out to hear these honoured artists of Ukraine as they carry forward the musical legacy of their father (the legendary Nazari Yaremchuk). Tickets can be purchased through Eventbrite.

Svitanok dancers will perform at the Capital Ukrainian Festival's "Festival of Carols" event on Saturday, January 14. Enjoy an evening of Ukrainian song and dance to celebrate the new year.
